Who Am I & How I Started Lava Virtual

Starting a business wasn’t part of the grand plan. If you had asked me years ago where I saw myself, I probably would have said climbing the corporate ladder, managing high-performing teams, and leading big projects. What I didn’t expect was that at 36 weeks pregnant, I’d be made redundant and left standing at a career crossroads. That moment forced me to take control of my future. And so, Lava Virtual was born.

From corporate to consulting

For over a decade, I worked in high-stakes corporate environments, leading award-winning teams and streamlining operations to boost productivity and profitability. I lived and breathed efficiency, process review, and business problem solving—but I was doing it for someone else’s bottom line. When redundancy hit, I had a choice: start job hunting or take everything I knew about business management consulting and build something of my own. I chose the latter.

Why I do what I do

I’ve seen firsthand how many business owners work themselves into exhaustion, trying to juggle business operations, client management, and growth—all while still being the primary decision-maker. Many of my clients come to me feeling completely stuck in the day-to-day with no time to actually focus on scaling or improving their processes. They’re working nights, weekends, and missing out on life because their operating rhythm is reactive instead of proactive.

That’s where I come in. I help business owners take back control with structured, intentional strategies.

What I offer & how it helps business owners

I built Lava Virtual with one goal in mind: to help service-based businesses get their operations under control so they can stop working harder and start working smarter. Over time, my services have evolved into these key offerings:

1. Pick My Brains Session

Bring one challenge, idea, or decision you’re stuck on. Walk away with clear direction and the confidence to take action.
Best for: Business owners needing fast, no-fluff strategic advice. Learn more about the Pick My Brains session here.

2. Strategy Reset

This 90-minute session gives you the clarity and direction you’ve been craving. We’ll cut through the chaos, map out your priorities, and leave you with a focused plan of action.
Best for: Business owners feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what to tackle next. Learn more about the Strategy Reset here.

3. VIP Operations Day

Best for: Founders who need focused help on a specific operations area (and fast results).

4. Business Advisory

You don’t need a full-time operations manager but you do need someone who can help you lead better, prioritise clearly, and make smart decisions. With monthly advisory support, we’ll review progress, troubleshoot in real-time, and keep the business moving forward. Learn more about Business Advisory here.
Best for: Founders who want a sounding board and strategic partner on an ongoing basis.

5. Virtual COO Services

If you’re growing fast and your backend can’t keep up, it’s time to bring in executive-level operations support. I’ll work behind the scenes to manage your team, systems, and delivery—so you can focus on growth without drowning in the day-to-day.
Best for: Agencies and service-based businesses looking to scale sustainably. Learn more about Virtual COO Services here.

Who I work with

I work with small business owners, consultants, and professional service providers who are brilliant at what they do but are drowning in the backend chaos of running a business. Whether you’re an accountant, solicitor, coach, or creative, if your business operations feel overwhelming, I can help.

The bigger picture

My work is about more than just process review and workflow improvements; it’s about helping business owners create sustainable businesses that don’t require them to burn out.

Being an entrepreneur should give you freedom, not steal it. If your business isn’t running efficiently, you don’t have a business- you have a very demanding job.

If you’re tired of spinning your wheels and want to finally build a business that works for you, not against you, let’s chat.
